Why I do what I do

Before I got into personal training, I was a licensed paramedic passionate about helping people keep their health so they can live their best lives. It wasn’t long before I realized that many issues people faced could be prevented, which sparked my journey into proactive (versus reactive) health.

I’ve developed a framework that I call Holistic Optimal Performace™ (or HOP™ for short) that I use in my personal, group, online and nutrition training programs that is designed to move you from frustration and plateaus to real progress.

Step 1

Internal Health

It’s imperative we address what’s going on with your gut, hormones, adrenals, energy, inflammation and brain before taxing your body with additional stress.

Step 2

External Health

Once your internal health is sorted and steady, we can begin working on your external health, including stability, mobility and flexibility. All foundational exercises are introduced and form mastered before adding weights.

Step 3

PERFORMANCE

At this stage, you’ve nailed form, established stability and your flexibility and mobility continues to improve. We are moving into building strength and increasing speed and power.

Training

My most hands-on service is one-on-one, in-person training. We develop a plan that suits your goals best, and schedule sessions that fits your schedule and budget.

We begin by working through my HOP™ framework which is customized specifically for you and your body.

Group

Training

There are two main ways to work with me in groups; the first is to join the Fit14™ Online Program and participate in the group training calls, virtual group and accountability sessions. The second is to form your own group or setup a program with your existing group, which may be a competitive sports team, rec league or corporate team. Online

Training

Our exclusive Fit14™ program is our go-to for virtual training. Inside, you receive The First Five™ foundational exercises walk-through, the fundamentals of Foam Rolling 101, and the 14-week video series where I walk you through the HOP™ framework step by step. We meet to find out what the best program steps are for you.

 

NutritiOn

Exercise is only one part of a healthy lifestyle! To effectively implement the HOP™ framework, your nutritional habits are an integral piece of the program. Our upcoming nutrition program will be integrated in all Personal Training services and as a standalone package.
